    Deep cycle battery as a cranking battery

    Is it Ok to use a deep cycle battery as a cranking battery, I know it can be used to start, but I plan to use one all the time, Will I have any trouble if I do this.<br />Thank you

    I just purchased a johnson outboard from a guy I know at work , He said the guy he got it from told him it was a 1991 10 horse, It is a 15 horse the number was covered over , Im trying to find out the year, I saw some pics of a 91 and the graphics are different than mine. I cant give much info...
