    There’s obviously a reason why im asking. Its on the boat the boats in the water. Has a weird vibration turning only at 1500rpm. When i put the drive on there was grease on the nipple of the grear fittings and i was told they are pre greased.

    Do you have to grease u joints from the factory on sei drives. When it came there was grease on the nipple and from what ive seen even if their own installation video they do not grease them before installing.

    What does it mean when you have power steering. Recently i put a new transom assembly and drive on my boat. Also replaced the power steering rack. When i turn st 1500 rpm it vibrates in the wheel and the whole boat. Nothing at higher rpms.

    I appreciate the knowledge however i aligned the engine with no trouble at all with an alignment tool. So i dont know if that makes any difference in what you are saying.

    I just clicked on the video and i can see the footage. The water is streaming across the top of the center of the y pipe where it splits off to the two sides. Its hard to explain without you seeing the video. Heres a picture.
