:confused: I have a 1966 Chrysler 50hp model 50661. I don't see any kind of timing marks on the motor. I don't have a manual. Can someone tell me how to time this engine up? Any help would be greatly appreciated, I want to go fishing.:confused:
Does anyone know where I can find the cam that opens the points ( Part # 268002 ) on a 1966 50hp (model # 50661) chrysler w/alternator and battery start ?:( I can't find it on IBOATS or EBAY.:confused:
Where can I find wiring diagrams for 1966 and 1983 50hp Chrysler engines. I also need a junction block for the wiring on the '83 engine. Someone cut all of the wires on both sides of the junction block when they removed it.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

The tapered hole for the crankshaft on mine is bad. If you know where I can
get mine rebuilt, I could use that info also. Thanks and happy boating. :confused:
The flywheel and cam for the points uses a shared woodruf key. That key in my engine snapped and I can't get the cam off to replace the key. I have pried up on it, but, it wouldn't budge. How can I get it off?:confused:

:confused:I am going th have to buy a Chrysler manual. In the meantime, I have A 1966 50hp Chrysler. I purchased a fuel pump kit for it, but, I have forgotten the placement of the gasket and diaphragm. Which goes on the bottom (the part with the sediment bowl), the gasket or the diaphragm...
If you disconnect the fuel line at the carburetor on a '66 50hp Chrysler motor, how much should come out with the starter spinning the motor?:confused:
