    last season i ran at 3400 rpms,the boat planed out nice i figure it was at half throttle,over the winter i had the lower unit seals done as there was mucho water in the lower unit,Today i took her out for the madien run and noticed,the boat was running at 5000=5500 throttle in the same position...

    a leaky lower unit

    if the seals are leaking ull c the oil right on the prop . i had a pan under mine 2 catch the oil.fishing line did them in just hadem repaired .pressure test pressure test!!!

    well i got the pressure test done and it was the seals. the notch in the leading edge is for the speedopickup thanks 2 every body for the input john

    paaint stripper

    question, can i use red devil paint stripper on the bottom coat ,it says may soften fiberglass. ? thanks john from jamaica bay n.y.
