    Why moount a toon motor further back?

    What is the reason for moving a pontoon motor further back? Newer models seem to have the motor mounted behind the back of the logs instead of between them. Thanks.....

    1988 mercury 115 hp auto blend removal

    Is there anything on the motor that must be disconnected when removing the auto blend system or do i just toss it and use premixed 50:1 fuel. I have read horror stories about destroyed motors. I already have the system off the boat. Any advice is much appreciated......
