No spark until end of cranking

Just received my powerpack yesterday, was lost by USPS. My wife was in a car accident Sept. 2. She is fine. Car is totaled. I've been dealing with that, so I haven't had time to fool with the motor. Will repot back soon Thank You

It was dark out looked like it was broken. Waiting on a powerpack, shipping was delayed. Swapped wires from pack to top coil and it fired.

Plate looks good . Do you know which wires to tie together to bypass the switch? And how do disable the kill switch? Sorry, Im new to outboards.

I can wiggle the plate up and down, not side to side, other than what its supose to. I dont have the flywheel torqued down but its close, and tight. I may have to rewire this motor, as it has set for years. The timer plate will move up and down not back and forth

Plate feels good. Another question, trying to bypass switch also. I tied the white wire, red black stripe, and purple white stripe together. I left out the black and black and yellow stripe. Is this correct? No kill button, pre kill switch. Simplex controls. Think thats the name.
