Can someone confirm or deny that this is the location for a serial number for this outdrive?
I need to order new planetary gearing for this unit and PO removed any labels.
Pic attached. Is that supposed to happen? The shaft stayed when I removed the outdrive unit.
I am removing to replace the engine.
It looks like it should have been threaded on to the outdrive? So how do I go about removing it now? Is it accessible from the engine side?
First off cool forum, been trolling it since we purchased the boat I am stumped on.
