I have a BF9.9A serial #BABS 1001800…without a cowling. It seems to be a 1987 and is essentially the same15hp of its time.
This engine is a dark graphite gray and not bright silver like the modern day Hondas, BUT from pictures I’ve seen, it appears that Honda started using the bright silver...
