I'd like to add an additional water temperature guage (with alarm) to my 1999 Volvo-Penta 5.0 GI PWTR. Preferably on the outflow side, after the water has made its way through the engine.
Has anyone done this or have suggestions on sender unit and installation/location?

Several weeks ago I had both heads replaced (both sides cracked) on a recently purchased boat/engine- 1999 5.0GI PWTR with SX drive.
The mechanics put the engine back together but it leaked oil from the back of the intake manifold near the distributor, actually right near the oil pressure...
