    2007 mercury 115 efi

    Hi there !As I attempted to change the water pump impeller i got very surprised,because when I removed the gear housing nearly a quart of engine oil leaked out.Should I have drained the engine oil beforehand,as obviously the driveshaft enters the oil pump.Thanks!
