I replaced all my wiring and electronics this winter. I used this switch panel, and it was fine. I did not hook up the constant light wiring, as to not drain the battery. I also ran a direct wire to each switch as to not overload the fuse panel with only one positive wire.
I purchased my Haswing Trolling motor last year, and i now regret not getting the Anchor Lock. I've seen other GPS add on for Minn Kota, but is there anything i can add to mine for Anchor Lock? Or do i need to sell mine and purchase the right one?
My 1989 Johnson Evinrude 9.9hp idles and starts up with no problem. When i go to give it some throttle is stalls around 3mph. Changed fuel line and bulb but still same thing. Thinking the carb needs a rebuild. Wasnt sure if there is an easier fix to try first.
My Tow Ring busted loose on my 16ft Sylvan Aluminum boat. I was going to replace the broken rivets with bolts, but getting access to the inside of the boat looks terrifying. Would an epoxy like JB Weld and some new rivets hold?
I've used this as my trolling motor. Had it out today and it Started up several times today no issues. Last time it ran when I started it, it took a couple turns of the key for it to fire up. Last time I tried to start it nothing. Checked the kill switch and battery connections. All look ok...
After replacing the upper seal I now have no forward gear. It makes a clicking sound when I try to put it in forward. I checked the shift rod connector and bolts are tight.
I replaced the gear oil for winter. As I was pumping in the new oil i noticed gear oil coming out the water Intake. Is this a bad seal? I replace the prop shaft seal this summer. Should have replace the upper one as well.
I'm replacing the drive pin on my 1964 evinrude 60hp propeller. Its to long for the nut key to fit over. I'm guessing I have to cut it to length. Seemed weird to have to cut it. Any help would be appreciated.
Just finished replacing the lower seal. All was going well until I barrel tested it. Now I have no forward gear. Reverse and neutral are fine. Its a manual shift 1964 60hp evinrude sportfour. Any suggestions would be helpful. I checked the shift rod connector and it looked ok.
I've pulled the lower unit. So far it's worked to good. Prop needed a little PB Blaster but got it off. NOW I can't figure out how to remove the seal. Help!!!
