    fuel pump and kit

    1998 mercury 9.9 4 stroke s/n 0H014563 been trying to figure out what kit i would need to rebuild my fuel pump on my newly acquired merc and am at a loss. according to my s/n i know it says my carb is a "bodensee" so would figure my fuel pump would be a "bodensee" also but its not connected...

    1998 merc 9.9 fuel problem??

    1998 mercury 9.9 four stroke s/n 0H014563 Went out to lake yesterday for test run of boat and motor. Motor starts up and idles fine, little on high side, seems to b running great up and down lake fin for bout 10 minutes, stop to adjust idle cause its idling pretty fast, start back up idling...

    Electro thermal cold start valve pic

    1998 merc 9.9 "bodansee" Dealing with a carb issue on my 9.9 and was wondering if anyone has a pic of the electrothermal valve that installs on top of the carb. Needing a pic of it out of the carb......thinking part of mine may be broken and stuck in the carb. Thanks

    1998 merc green oil pressure light--hows it work

    so my 1998 merc 9.9 4 stroke has a green(good) oil pressure light on the front by pull handle that manual says should be illuminated when engine is running giving indication of good oil pressure. according to wire schematic the light has 2 wires..black goes to ground, yellow/red comes from...

    1998 mercury carb parts

    I just recently bought a 1998 mercury 9.9 four stroke and it has a small leak on the bottom of the carb. Called the local boat shop here looking for the part and they said the part was obsolete!!! They told me my motor was a "bodansee"??? Apparently a European version??? They said most parts...
