Fuel coming out of the hose connected to the vapor pump 0433352

Update - can now get it to run briefly, and am getting a "milkshake" flowing from the exhaust. Pulled plugs and they look clean - maybe too clean. Is the "milkshake" a sign of water mixing with the unburned fuel? The carbs were carefully cleaned before I started this adventure. This motor...

Fuel coming out of the hose connected to the vapor pump 0433352

No warpage, float / needle are free. Now, it's not flooding and there's fuel in the bowl, but no run. Will start and run briefly on carb spray. I am out of ideas, period. Thanks for your advice.

Fuel coming out of the hose connected to the vapor pump 0433352

Hello all. 1999 Johnson V4 2-stroke with VRO - When priming the carbs with the bulb, raw fuel squirts from the hose exiting the vapor pump. Carb on the top left seems to be starved for fuel. Any ideas as to what may have gone wrong? Many thanks.

1997 Mercury 125 ELPTO - issue with starting

I recently purchased a boat that has a 1997 Mercury 125 ELPTO outboard. I did a compression check on the motor and got good results - 120 / 115/ 115/ 115. After replacing the fuel lines and other maintenance, I moved the boat out of my shop to start for the first time. This is when the issue...

1999 Evinrude 115 Ficht - cold run issue?

Motor - 1999 Evinrude 115 Ficht - E115FSLEEC Since it has gotten colder, this motor is exhibiting an interesting behavior. It starts and idles well, but when I try to go beyond idle, it stops immediately like you turn the key off. It will run fine in or out of gear at idle, but when I try to...

1999 Evinrude E115FPLEEC - removing steering arm bolts to replace powerhead

The powerhead on my 1999 Evinrude E115FPLEEC is blown and I am in the process of removing it but have run into an issue. There are two 5/8" hex bolts that fasten the steering arm to the powerhead (?). These bolts seem to pass through a rubber mount(?) and then into the powerhead (?). I am unable...

    My 1992 Mariner 90elpto is sick...puzzled

Motor - 1992 Mariner 90ELPTO S/N OD130152 Up until a recent trip to MN, the boat has run well, with no issues. During the trip, I drove through a deluge and apparently water got into the fuel, which caused the motor to run poorly. I eventually drained the tank and refilled with known good...
