    Four Winns O/B owners need some help

    I have a 93 Four winns Freedom 180 with a just rebuilt Johnson 115. I have a 13X19 prop and am currently getting 32mph on my GPS. I would think this boat would get closer to 40 or above according the manual. No water logged foam. Any thoughts or suggestions?

    115 Johnson water cooled rectifier replacement

    Seems my water cooled rectifyer is bad, did the tach thing and the tach works on the yellow wire. Does the flywheel need to be removed to switch this out?

    Transom designs outboard VS I/O

    Are outboard and I/O transoms designed differenctly? I ask because I have a 93 Four Winds fish and ski outboard. It appears behind about 1/2 thick gelcoat and fiberglass there is just a piece of plywood bolted through the motor bolts etc inside the boat.

    I have been reading about this stuff , and was thinking about using it in my open bow for the backing for side cushions etc. It says you can staple it etc. anyone used ? thoughts ?

    Bimini Top needed

    I am looking for a bimini top for my 93 F/s , looking for the small one that covers the driver and passenger sides, maybe someone has on old one that needs new material etc. willing to pay a fair price for it.

    Outboard motor height

    Not sure if this is the correct forum, if not forgive me. I have a 93 Four Winns fish and ski Freedom 180 with a 93 Johnson 115. I was wondering what is the correct height for mounting the motor. Looked at the online manual but dont see anything. Any help would be appreciated. thanks,

    93 Johnson 116 RECTIFIER & REGULATOR ASSY

    I have a leak in the gasket from the Rectifier & Regulator assembly. The motor was just rebuilt and there are only two bolts on either side holding it down, but it look like there should be two more on the front, opposite side of the flywheel, but i cannot be sure by the drawing on the BRP site...

    93 Johnson 115 v-4 .30 over piston shortage?

    Anyone know of a shortage on these pistons. Motors been at the shop two months now to be rebuilt and the mechanic keeps telling me everyone is out of these pistons Sierra etc. Make sense? Thanks for reading or commenting.

    Parts swap question

    I have a 93' 115. Will parts from a 78 115 interchange with my motor. I can purchase a complete motor for parts for around 200 and would be good to have spare parts. Any help is appreciated.

    93 115 gone gone

    well had the 93 115 running, wouldnt go over 2000rpm . Took it to the shop, #1 cylinder 30psi, 2,3,4 90psi. Shops gonna charge me 1600.00 for complete rebuild and warranty. Worth it? i think it is. any other thoughts.

    93 Johnson 115 TLETS

    I noticed when trying to start the motor, with the air cover off, that when i push in the choke to prime and start, fuel mix is coming out of the front of the carbs. Is that normal? It gets hard to start and was wondering if it is being flooded? Spark, compression etc are all good. TIA
