I mounted a fishfinder at the front of my boat next to the trolling motor. I was trying to cut corners and just hook the power wire from the fish finder to the power wire of the trolling motor to avoid running separate wires all the way back to the batteries. Well I got my fish finder to turn on...
I have a alluminum boat that I had a set of trim tabs on originally. I removed them and then siliconed the holes and its not doing that good of a job. I want a perminant fix for this. Almost like a bondo of some sort. Something I can paste over the holes for complete restoration and no leaks...
My outboard has a problem. When I go WOT it'll take off to about 15 mph then the motor will spin, like there is weeds in the prop only there is not. I thought I spun the hub but I switched props and boom, the same problem. I'm not to experienced with outboards as to repairs. I'm not sure...

I am new to this forum site but I'm not new to forums in general. Does anyone know a ball park figure of how much it'd be to buy and install a tacometer for an outboard?
