went to launch boat today motor stared when i put it in grear it died then went to restar it all it would to is backfire i have cked for good spark it is blue is it possible the shear pin slipped in the flywheel ? or something else i need to look for

cked all grounds
now heres the deilima twin tanks with a petcock ,port starbord ,aux ,amd off
there seems to bee a lot of play between all of them what happens is 200 yrds full throttle i seem to run out of gas pump up...

the problem im having is it after pumping the bulb then starting motor will run for 1 to 2 mins then act like its running out of fuel i can pump the bulb and it will continue to run but when you dont it will die i have fresh fuel ,new fuel filter ,all new hoses ,carbs are...
i just got this boat and it starts fine but it stalls out when throttle is opened out then it will take off run great but when go to restart its back again may have to idle out 100 yards then ease into throttle again sometimes have to back all the way off and get back into it again to get on...
