    motor slipping in and out???

    My 1988 force 125 was leaking oil and water was in it so I put a lower unit seal kit in it, things went pretty good until I got to the part where it said not to reuse the crush ring .     oil leak on 89 Force 125

    I changed the impeller last year and needles to say, I think I need to do it again because it does not work, (it overheats, does not spit water), at low idle speeds. But--- I now have an oil leak in the lower unit, especially when I tilt it. and yes I am getting water in there, any suggestions?

    oil leaking

    My 93 Force is leaking oil from the lower unit out of what looks like a couple little holes up above the plug, just under a fin ( I don't know what it is called) that goes around it, I just see some on the driveway when it is parked, what might this be,is it normal??

    Force 125 running rough

    My 88 force 125 is having problems, it is slow at accelerating and it won't top out very good, it kind of wants to go faster, kinda jumps,rpm,s go up real quick, like it wants to but just wont stay there. also at an idle it lunges (i don't know how to explain it). Any help? update ok thanks...

    force performance?

    OK, I guess I have to deal with a big fuel bill, thanks for the input, you guys that reply are appreciated! One more, I only get about 30 mph out of my 88 Force 120 pushing an 18.5' bayliner capri, I thought I'd do better.

    cooling problem 89 Force 125

    I just bought a bayliner with an 89 force 125 and it seems like the cooling system is blocked, I had the lower unit off and the old impeller looks as good as the new one, I changed it anyway. As i was tightening the bolts, i busted one, so i had to take the top of the gearcase off to get to it...
