    Thanks for responding....it was given to me so no investement there atleast. Any idea what proper compression should be? I'm thinking 90PSI? Head gasket and piston rings are the next suspects

    I installed the card I ordered on Ebay, and it still didn't start. I was skeptical about that carb, so I ended up finding a used carb from a 5hp Eska! I was sure it would work after installing that one, but still not working! I've got good fuel and good spark, so decided the check compression...

    Thank you! I ordered the same one you posted on Sunday evening, and received it today. I'm kind of skeptical, but we'll see. It's not a big loss if it doesn't work. I will post the results as soon as I get it installed.
