    Fuel Sender Danger ?

    I am getting ready to install a Tempo fuel sender and noticed that the electrical wire that is connecting to the sender case is actually placed into a half tank of gas after the install is complete. Doesn't this pose some type of explosion risk having a hot wire in gasoline ? Did I misunderstand...

    Synergistecs carpet adhesive

    Has anybody use Synergistecs carpet adhesive and liked it ? I was trying to avoid contact cememt and have seen this stuff advertised at West Marine. Thanks for any responses.

    Rot or Not

    For the first time in 27 years, I pulled off the old carpet to install some new carpet. I noticed some large black marks about 5 inches wide running down some of the wood. Is this rot or just normal discoloring in the wood. I will attempt to post a picture. The wood is not soft that I can tell.
