My new cable is installed, now the inner cable only goes in about a foot then hits something. I can put a smaller wire all the way through. I might need a new cable housing.

I been trying for hours to get that e-clip on. bought long needle nose and the one with a bent tip. I still can't get it on.My hands are to big and you can't see the fitting...
Start it up pressre is at 40, went cruising for about 1 hour around 3400 rpm when I noticed pressure at about 10 psi. Came back up to 20 at 2400 rpm. Went to start today cold and pressure was holding at 20. Oil is full. 2003 5.0 mercruiser. Could it be oil sending sensor
