    throttle control box problem

    I have a 1992 omc control box that the fast idle lever goes up and down and does not engage. I took it apart and found that two of the plastic parts had worn out.     I have a 1982 johnson 115 that has not had its spark plugs changed in a long long time. How often should I change and what are the effect of using the old ones? thanks for the info, Brad

    82 johnson 115 won't go over 3000 rpm

    Boat was running great....ran out of gas and now will not go over 3000 rpm's, anybody have any ideas?:confused:
