Nice work! I only recently got back to trying to sort this out. Thought I'd cut a wedge to even it up with the prow and angle the mount along the bow, but I failed to account for how the until will sit when the prop is out of the water. Back to the drawing board!
Thank you for the welcome. I just got the motor today and have spent a couple hours now assessing my options. It's going to take some creative thinking, but that quick release might be the key.
Thanks for the reply. I was thinking a quick release bracket might be necessary. Do you think I should mount it to the side or as close to the center as possible? That second option will require me to do something about the bow lights.
