    What type of cable do I need ?

    Can anyone tell me what type of cable I need for this helm ? The guy I bought the boat from didn't have the old one on there, just this helm.... I thought about replacing the whole thing but honestly I need to be as frugal as possible right now... Thanks in advance. Beamin1

    1984 7.5 hp Merc shifting issue

    Ok, still working on my waterpump but when I put the lower unit back together, it's not shifting right, reverse is neutral and nut and fwd both go fwd... I've read around on here that rotating the shifter is bad but on this one, the control rod on the lower unit doesn't rotate, it just moves...
