    Flashers, Cowbells, whatever

During the 60's and early 70's there was a product on the market called (I believe) Kuetts Special Flashers. It was a string of flashers, cowbells trollers whatever you call them. I always knew them as a string of flashers. They were about 48" long with silver 5 silver blades behind the rudder...

Looking for string of flashers from the 60's

When I would go fishing with my parents we used a string of flashers (some called them cow bells) that if I remember right they were Etta Kuetts Special. They were approximately 40 to 48 inches long, had the rudder blade, and 5 graduating down in size spinner blades. They were strung on solid...

Charger finished and it floats too

When I got the Charger it was in a farmers field, was full of water from spring rains. The floor was soft and the foam under the floor was 60 to 80% saturated. Cut out the floor, tore out the foam, put in new floor and foam, recarpeted, put in new steering, throttle and shift cables. With a lot...

    Steering question??

I am not sure of the model of steering I have, but i think it is like the Teleflex Safety "T". It has a single center flex that looks like a very heavy heavy spring (spiral shape) that feeds inside the sheathing. When the wheel is turned the motor attachment end moves out or retracts. Is there...

"65" Johnson RKL 24 L Full Throttle Problem

On my 65 RKL 2Johnson, I put in new points and condensors that seemed like it took care of a miss that I had. I took the boat out to the lake today and had a different problem. When throttle was advanced to full it seemed like I was getting about 1/2 throttle. Brought boat back from lake and...
