    too much or not enough prop

    i have a 16 ft alum.sylvan with a 50 hp johnson,i have a 12 1/4 x15 ss prop.wot im only getting 3800 rpms.motor runs good and speed is anywhere from 20 - 25 mph.book says i should be runnin 4500-5500 rpms.do i have the wrong prop? drinks gas bad,maybe another problem.any help would be greatly...

    90 50 hp johnson shifting problem

    bought new cables,still no reverse unless i adjust it all the way back,then i get no foreward.its one or the other,can anyone help.linkage in box is all good just not enough cable to go in reverse all the way.thanks

    teleflex c-14 throttle and shift cables adjusting

    I needed to replace both shift n throttle cables on my sylvan,omc box,50 hp vro.R these preset or is there a certain way to adjust them? I have a seloc manual but does not show anything on adjusting new cables.Any help,much appreciated.
