Gentlemen I have a 1990 60 HP Johnson<br />Compression is 116, 115,117<br />Stock prop<br />Has not been tuned in about 5 years<br />What is the max MPH I should be getting ? I am getting about 43 MPH.<br />How much more will a better prop get me ?<br /><br />Thanks

Gentlemen I know some of you will not like this, but what are some of the tricks to exact premix? Has anyone used a turkey baster or large syringe. Also there is the issue of getting all of the measurement into the tank Tricks ? <br />I am kind of annal about this stuff.
Gentlemen, DFI can not rebuild my VRO pump (3 wire) however they can sell me a new one (4 wire) Do I want to buy a VRO at 200.00. VRO or not. If I mix my own gas, don't I still need the pump ????? Thanks

1990 60hp Johnson<br />removed all bolts, 4 for lower unit, 2 for trim tab plus one sunk deep in tab and corrosion block bolt. Lower unit has came down about 1/2 inch and stoped. I don't see any shift wires (have not extended them) The problem seems to be in the forward part of the unit...
