still hunting 2 sets off carbs for my 2 liter omc motors (the a plastic carbs) . or i have to replace them with something als.
the motors 90 something models used to be seadrives.

now we go agan just buy my old boat back 32 foot with 2 omc 2 liter motors on it the a only V4's but run like a camp after i buld them from scrap. the a made in 1988 as seadrives i dont like the seadrive my self is to havy so i put transom brackets on the motors any way.the problem now it the...
just pick up a boat with a 1977 888 outdrive and a 302 ford motor.
i need some imput about the good and bad thinks with this outdrive.thanks for the help
pick up a new project today a 1950 5hp seaking this will be the oldest motor i have now is more a restore for me it will not be for the evry day use.
we have good compresson but no spark at the time.
after the motor is running for about 10 min.it will cut out for a sec. and come back on.the cut out is at random and will make the motor jump on the transom,it will happen even at idle but only in forward not in reverse.
any good comends please.
