    Alpha one drive oil reservior question

    So for some reason every time I look at my reservior there's oil on the cap. I don't see how i happens, the oil in the reservoir itself is on the low side but oil keeps showing up on top of the cap. I guess it's not a big problem but it's weird.

    mercruiser 3.0 stainless 14 x 19 4 blade

    Hi there, I just bought a prop on offer up that was too good a deal to pass up. It's a quicksilver typhoon 14 x 19 I guess it is the mercury vensura equivalent. Is anyone using this prop on a mercreuiser 3.0? The boat is a sea ray 185 weighing in at 2700 pounds (probably 3400 with people and gear.

    Power steering knocking one direction

    So I had a steering line leaking and I think I've fixed it but when I filled the fluid back up and ran the boat on the muffs I'm getting a knocking when the wheel is turned one direction. It seemed to mostly go away the next time I started it but what could this be? Please see attached video...

    3.0 oil pickup tube

    Hi guys. I'm looking for an oil pickup tube and screen and I"m wondering if it has to be the mercury/sierra pickup? They're about 5 times more expensive than the automotive version and I'd like to save a bit of money if it's the same.
