    1956 Evinrude 15 gearcase seal kit

    Hi...this should be easy for the experts. I bought a 1956 Evinrude 15. I was looking through the parts on iBoats and didn't see a lower unit seal kit for it. My question is will the seal kits for the newer [like 1960] 18s work, or do I need to hunt up each seal individually? Thanks

    25 Evinrude steering frozen

    Hi everybody. I just picked up a mid 70's Evinrude 25. Its in fair shape but my first project is that the steering is frozen. That is to say the engine won't pivot on the steering shaft that runs from below the powerhead to the lower[not the tilt tube]/ I'm open to suggestions for freeing it...

    10hp Evinrude backfire issue

    Got some more info on my motor. It was seized from sitting, the guy I got it from freed it up. Is it possible that the crank seals were damaged during the process? I'm specifically referring to the large o ring around the roller bearing on the top and bottom of the crank..the little o rings...

    1957 7.5 lower unit bind

    model # 7522, 7.5 Evinrude.<br />Just resealed the lower. When I tried to turn it by hand with the driveshaft, it will bind up for about 1/2 turn, then free up, then bind, you get the idea.<br />I have a factory manual, doesn't really address this issue, I searched the forums, didn't find...

    Oceanic boats

    I have a 1987 25' Oceanic center console. It is the only one I have ever seen. Does anyone out there have one? Does anyone know if the hull is comparable to another brand? I heard the the molds were old Formula molds but don't have any proof.<br />Any info would be appreciated.

    I've a 3 cyl Thunderbolt ignition, battery CD, seperate switch box ['74-'76 roughly] on a 3 cyl modified for APBA hydroplane. I'm running into a wall at 6800rpm. Anybody know if these switch boxes have rev limiters? If so, how can I defeat it, or is there a switch box without a rev...

    2cyl Evinrude, 3 ring pistons

    I have this twin, judging by the ignition '73-'74ish, only #on it c0048628. Anyway, it has 3 ring pistons in it. Anybody know what this is? Think the rings are atill available?<br />I was told it was a 25hp. Thanks
