    Need a source for a lower unit spanner nut. (Pre-alpha)

    I'm getting water in lower unit of a MC-1/pre-alpha. I used the correct tool but ended up breaking off several of the "ears". Now I need to find a replacement part. Preferably ASAP. My issue is I can't seem to locate or identify a current part number. 528340 is stamped on the edge if that helps.

    Name that wire (1974 3.0L)

    I'm redoing all the wiring and building a new dash. The large gauge Orange wire has never been hooked up. It goes into the large connector near the engine and doesn't come out. Any ideas?

    Pre-alpha/merc1 ourdrive pressure test.

    I'm losing gear oil and its being replaced with water. Not good. I have a gasket and o-ring kit on the way. Can I pressure test this like its an Alpha outdrive? I can only find tutorials on the alphas and not the older outdrive. Thanks for any help.

    At a loss. Merc-1 tilt hydraulic line

    I have a Merc-1 (pre-alpha) outdrive. I blew the tilt hydraulic line yesterday and everywhere I've searched comes up with different part numbers and lengths. It's 3903838 sn. The line going into the distribution block under the drive is what I need. Any help or sources would be greatly appreciated.

    Quick '57 Javelin question. (lower unit)

    '57 Javelin that just came back from the shop. I noticed a slow LU oil leak. What would happen if I remove the screws holding the very bottom of the lower unit? Can this peice be removed and reinstalled without fear of things falling out? Im not too sure what Im getting my self into.
