today i read the thread on beaching and looking at all the pictures of people enjoying there boats helped my inspiration . gave me a good feeling toward completing my project thank you .
im using a 2 awg wire for my starter . id like to add circuit protection ,although not mandatory is it doable, how high amperage would be needed and what type . my engine is a 4 cyl aq 151c Volvo
when i brought it all the way up into trailer position , i kept pushing the switch ,finally after a few maybe 8 seconds the 20 amp fuse blew then the hydraulic fitting came undone [ hose i made up] and fluid went every were . it is a brand new pump . im wondering if there is a trim limit switch...

there should be some sort of shield that could be attached to the trailer to keep rocks from being kicked up into the boat while towing . any one seen a good one
