I was wondering if someone knew if you had to use a special tach for a 125 Force(1989 model year) or wil any tach work? Or I also saw someone mention using a "Tiny Tach" that you hook to a spark plug wire and to the engine ground. Where are these available at and how well do they work?<br />Thanks
I was wondering if someone could tell me how to or if it is possible to install a water presure guage on a 125 force that does not have a guage now. Someone once told me the only way was to drill and tap the water jacket around the block. This sounded a little risky to me so I didn't do it...
When I trim my motor up about 1/4 of the way the front end starts to porpose. I have a jack plate and was wondering if raising or lowering the motor would help this problem? Also if I need to raise it will it hurt my hole shot? If so will a bigger prop help that? thanks
I have a 17' Terry bass boat with a 125 Force on it. Motor seems to run good but can only get about 30 mph out of it. I'm using a 17 pitch prop but when i gor to a steeper prop I loose all hole shot. With the 17 my hole shot is about 5 seconds. Any ideas to gain some more speed? Thanks
