    Power Pak for 85 hp Evinrude

    Whats up with the power pak going out around 75 hours of use. Replaced power pak several times and when the new power pak is installed the engine runs fine. The model # for my 85hp Evinrude is 85393, and its a 1973. Power pak should last for years and not hours. Am I wrong in my thinking?
