My 2001 Evinrude 15hp Four Stroke starts and idles very nicely!
I bought this motor used, then put it on my boat and:
When I wide open throttle, the motor shuts down ("bogs" down over about 2-3 seconds) after about 30-60 seconds.
So I came to these forums and did the following work.

I rebuilt the carburetor, turning the screws according to the order listed on the plastic pieces. Turns out, I simply did not tighten the screws enough, because I was shy of damaging the plastic.

I have a 2001 Evinrude 15hp 4 stroke:
I have been working on my motor, and now reassembled it. I have a question. Do the spark plugs (RED arrows) attach to a particular "nipple" on the coil? (BLUE arrows)
Or does it not matter, as long as they are attached to any "nipple" on the coil...

First: I found 3 bolts that fit the threaded holes in the flywheel. The bolts are 5/16" diameter shank and labelled "fine thread", which i take to mean 5/16 and 24 threads per inch...
