I have taken apart my carbs. to rebuild and found out that I need new reeds. My question to you all is How big a difference will it make to go from carbon reeds to steel reeds? I have found that my reeds have been replaced already. 175 Johnson 91'
I have a 1991 Johnson 175. The waterpump went out and i am attempting my first replacment. I am having trouble getting the lower unit off. I helped a friend work on his Mercury and the unit dropped right off. Mine w :( ill not. Is there a pin holding the shift linkage that I havnt found...
