Re: Our new boat project for 2014
I ordered my new seats today I can match the colors to the sample swatches I have and order the rest of the vinyl for the front cushins and side panels. Progress
I want to know WHY manufactures seem to fill the boat with foam under the floor. I cant imagine that small amount of foam being able to keep the boat from sinking or even add any flotation to it at all. From what I have seen in the boats I have worked on, all the foam did was trap water and help...
I picked up a boat form a really nice guy....He loved this boat, but the motor blew a rod through the block....so he decided it was time to upgrade.
I bought the 1985 19' manatee which he awesomely took the floor out because it was getting soft, all the hard dirty work is done for me....The EZ...
I know the product recommends using it in temps above 70*..... Im curious as to what results in using fiberglass is say 60* or 50* weather? Has any one done it and what were the problems...if any. I could deal with longer set up time, it might even be a positive in certain situations...but...

I have a VALUE question. I stumbled upon a 1974 19' Grady White O/B with a 1980 115hp Evenrude and galv trailer. I paid $100 for it all. The motor has even compression in all cylinders but I havent run it yet. The trailer is good all around with some surface rust.
The boat on the other hand...
I have a 17 V hull run about O/B that I cover with a blue tarp...doesnt look very good in my yard but it does keep it dry and clean. Im looking for a fitted cover, dont want to spend over $100 and want it to last more than ONE season and keep the boat DRY.... is there such a thing? reviews for...
Im on my second boat this season (17' v hull on a bunk roller trailer)...the last boat (17' v hull on a bunk trailer) i used a LIGHT BAR to keep the lights out of the salt water. It was a pain in the butt to be honest, and by NOT having my plate attached directly to the trailer, It got me a...
