    What should the compression be on this motor?

    1972 Evinrude 3 cyl. 65hp problems

    I bought this motor and put it on my boat...starts and run's great on land, but under a load it just putt's along. I changed the plug's thinking I might have fouled one out. Still no good. Could my carbs be a suspect? Dirty? The motor has been sitting for about 10 months.

    1976 55hp 2 cyl. Johnson Parts

    I have a '76 55hp 2 cyl Johnson that when I bought it the pistons were fried and the cylinder block was cracked. I was wanting to know if it would be worth parting out and trying to sell for example, the starter, coils, PowerPack, Flywheel, Stator, Carbs, etc.
