    Question on Head Temp - 1983 Johnson 90 V4

    The starboard side is noticeably warmer to the touch. Compression is 130, 130 Port side is 120, 120 Is this something to be concerned about? I don't think its getting too hot but I have no idea what too hot is as far as temp #'s. Freshwater engine, runs good, new water pump. I'd rather not...

    I recently had the pleasure of receiving a 90 Johnson from my FIL. It could be junk, I dont know. He seems to think that its a 1979 model. I cant find any info that says Johnson made a v-4 90 in 1979. The hard to read model #'s indicate a 1983 model. My question simply is did they make a v-4...

    Where is the best place to hook an engine hoist to a force 40. There is no hook on top of the block. Is flywheeel ok? Thanks

    Yamaha 25 3-Cylinder

    Who has one? I have a 1998 model and it seems to outperform most other 25 hp's. I dont know anyone else that has one and was just curious how you like it.

    Yamaha 25 prop question

    Anybody know what pitch prop came on a stock 1998 25 hp 3-cylinder. I have a ss prop on it now thats a different pitch and its great all around but that aluminum prop that came on it would tote the mail with a light load. Its a tiller if that makes any difference. Thanks.
