    Parts problems

    Hey guys, Quick question. Ordered new risers and everything looks the same and lines up. The only problem I have is the new riser has a roughly 3" threaded hole at the top and my old riser does not have one. Do I need a threaded plug? Motor is an 88 Merc 4.3 12 bolt. Thanks, Andrew
