Went to change oil in outdrive yesterday and found the hose disconnected from the water connector on top of the Lower. After closer inspection the connector is corroded and needs replacement. Whats the best way to replace it? Can it be done without dropping the lower?

My outdrive will not tilt up. I hear the motor spinning but it doesnt try to come up. The motor is turning at normal speed. New to boating would appreciate any help I can get.
Does anyone know if there is a replacement for the OMC Solenoids from places like Napa etc? I know the Ford Starter solenoids look very close the the OMC ones and there are quite a few different ones available. A part number would be great if you know it.
