I have read that lower units don't 'slip'. On take off, before planing out, it sounds/feels like the clutch slipping. Then it jumps, like it caught and takes off, planes out, and runs fine. The 'jerk' is what has me perplexed. Any ideas what it might be?
With spark tester, #2 & #4 not firing. Heard a 'click' tested them again, they were firing. Heard a 'click' #3 not firing, heard a 'click' and it was firing.
There cosmetic is draining from the stator, but would that be the source of the 'click' ?
