    Loose Wire

    I have a 1972 100hp evinrude outboard. I was changing the plugs today and noticed that there was a green wire loose. I cannot figure out where it goes, and I don't want to guess. I think it may be for the tach, because the tach doesn't work and there is a green wire going to it. Please help...

    Please help identify year and fuel/oil mixture

    I recently bought a used bout with an Evinrude outboard on it. It runs great, but the individual I bought it from wasn't sure what mixture of gas to use. Or what year it is. The model number is 100293 02495. I'm almost out of the gas so please help.
