Hey everyone just aquired a 98 GTI. Seems itseems to have idle problem. Will only run with choke pulled at a standstill. Where should I start to look to address this issue
hey every one just got everything put back together on the boat. it's a 97 four winns horizon qx with a Volvo penta 3.0. new exhaust manifold reinstalled carb and riser. It was full of water in the oil pretty big leak in exhaust port from the water line.
so i changed oil and filter put in some...
So I got the on the water for the first time yesterday. Only went about half a mile. It started to run at about 200. Tore off all the hoses and found a chunk of in the smaller hose going to the riser. Ran it on muffs and got it to stay steady at 170 at about 3000 rpm. Thought I had it all ready...
i am trying to get my new to me boat up and running after it being in the shop for the last year i just changed the oil and wanted to run it on muffs. cranked over and over to no avail. i was told it was watertested yesterday and it ran great. where would the line

I looking to possibly start a transom replacement on a 97 qx standa has anyone done one of these? Can it be done from the inside. I just purchased the boat and this would be the first project I would be taking along with engine coupler, drive shaft yoke, u joint, and gimble baring
