I ordered seirra pump housing kit 18-3317 to replace my existing pump assembly and I noticed the sierra kit does not have a oil or face seal on the water pump body. the existing pump assembly has a seal in the body. My question is do I need to order this item seperately for this specific kit...
where do you carry extra fuel in 5 gal cans? Inside the boat or on the swim platform? I would like to take 10-20 gallons of extra fuel in 5 gal cans. I think the swim platform would work best for me. What do you do? any safety issues?
I have a lifter ticking on a 1973 slickcraft ss-235 with twin mercruiser 140 4 cylinder engines. It is a stern drive. The engine block has a side plate that can be removed. I was told the lifter can be replaced when the side plate is removed. Anyone have instructions or done this before?
