    how to put a new pullrope on a 4.0 deluxe?

    i have a 1987 johnson 4.0 deluxe that needs a pull rope installed. can i get some help please ? local shop wants $140 to do it,,wow,,it has the side ways rewinder that the gear pops up on,,never did one like this, is there an illustration somewhere that i can see or some one could talk me...

    was wondering what year my motor is with the model number j4rdhlcud,,, and it was set up for electric start and iwant to put the pull cord back on,, is there any where i can find out how to do this or a diagram that could show me? thanks,,matt
