    Oh ok...redid the whole boat including paint. Checked everything out. Now putting back together and going to use it for fishing.

    Thanks... It is a fiberglass and hope that isn't an issue. It does have plates where other motor was mounted. Using boat for fishing. RW

    This old boat is fiberglass. Is that an issue. It does have a plate on it already where the other motor was mounted. I'm going to use it for trout and bass fishing.

    Hi...I'm nit a boat person but bought an old boat. I bought a Evinrude 85 and the stern mount lip is not long enough for my likings. Hate to lose my motor. Can I change that mount for a mount with longer lip and how or how do I fix existing one. Please forgive me for not knowing correct words...
