I was wondering if the fiberglass is cracked or if the gel coat is cracked? How can I fix this?
I just saw this tonight and it wasnt there 2 weeks ago.
I can post pics tomorrow when I get back to the boat.
i have a mercruiser 454 and i think the water pump is leaking. If it is the water pump will it keep dripping if the boat is in the water? Or could it be leaking from one of the hoses? Is dripping 2 times a second. Almost a steady stream.
Any help would be great.

I have a mercruiser 7.4 and at idle speed the tempature guage starts climbing. When im at cruising speed the temp is normal. I am guessing that the impeller needs to be replaced. I'm I correct in asuming that? also is the impeller locate in the outdrive or on the side of the engine block...
If an engine block was cracked. How long would it take for water to show up in the oil?
I am wondering cause my bro in law didnt winterize his boat and took it out last weekend. He ran it for about 2-3 hrs and we checked the oil. There was no sign of water in it.
Just wondering if he got lucky.
Its raining for the 3rd straight weekend. Its nice during the week then Friday comes and it rains. I wonder if I will ever get to take my boat out before Memorial Day :rolleyes:
I am trying to sell my bravo 1 lower unit. I had a guy call me on it. He said he didnt think that my 1989 bravo 1 would fit on his 1996. Is this true??

How hard is it to swap a 454 mercruiser with a 383. It is a 1988 Liberator. Do they make a motor mount kit or do I even need one? Thanks for your help in advanced.
