Re: OMC outdrive cooling nipple that connects hose to transom
1989 OMC Cobra, 5.0L engine, cable shift....I have attached a picture to help! and a description from a marine parts supplier:
Nipple goes between the Pivot Housing Assembly and the Water Inlet Hose and Clamp on Cobra and SX Transom...
I am looking for advice on how to change the nipple that comes out of the outdrive, port side and connects to cooling hose to transom to engine! Do I have to remove the outdrive? does it just push in? thread in? I have the new one but don't want to mess anything up. Thank you!
