    So I have continuity on each wire. There is no power however coming from the wires deriving at the controller switch at the point they plug into the trim sender wires. I press the trim switch up, no dc power. Should be 12 volts?

    Hello, I have a 95 Bayliner Capri 4.3LX. The trim switch on the controller only goes down. I have to use my trailer switch to trim up. I replaced the trim sender and limit switch on the outdrive, as well as the trim switch on the controller. No luck! Any suggestions as to what may be the problem...

    My 95 Bayliner Capri 2050 has a broken down Commander 3000 Throttle Shifter Controller. There are newer controllers without a trailer button sold by Mercury Marine (part # 883710a03). Would this be a suitable replacement?

    Can't seem to access distributor bolt on my 1986 3.0L Mercruiser/Alpha One. Do I have to remove my fuel pump? Oh, I think I just answered my own question...just remove the top filter section of the fuel pump, correct? Thanks

    I have a 3.0L 140 mercruiser with a 2bbl Mercarb. The bore on the bottom of the carb is 1 3/8 inches. I have been offered a 2bbl Mercarb with a 1 3/4 inch bore. Will this improve performance on my boat or create problems? What about if I install the jets from my old mercarb on the larger bore...

    new mercarb

    I have a 1986 I4 3.0L 140 HP M2 Mercarb that needs replacing. Its a 2bbl with one adjusting needle. # 1389-9350. I found a late model 2bbl mercarb off of a 3.0L merc engine. It looks identical in every way. Can I bolt this on? Thanks

    New Carb

    Have corrosion in my 86 Mercarb on a 181 C.I. 140HP 4cyl. motor. On another thread it was suggested I replace the carb with an "upgrade." Can anyone suggest a carb that I can bolt onto this motor that is better than the standard Mercarb? Where's the best place to get these marine carbs? Thanks
