    Fwiw, I just checked Amazon, and the Innova 3555 model is going for around $50 and offers a manual advance dial. I just recently picked up their fancier version, but this one should suffice for your needs.

    Sorry guys - a "free" boat lift popped up on my feed last night and I should have grabbed the pic while I could. It was no longer buoyant. The pics literally showed the dock lines as the only thing keeping it from being under the dock. Would have been perfect for this thread. :ROFLMAO:

    Speaking of cool sounds, being far from the coast, my exposure to offshore racing boats has been very limited. I stumbled across a great youtube channel that has good mics on their cameras, and the sound of some of those cigarettes rumbling through the home theater is awesome.

    I’m well aware of the superstition of changing a boat’s name, but I can’t find any signs this boat ever had one. At least that was physically attached to it. What is the common wisdom in these cases? Is it possible it never got one because it’s “just” an 18’ bowrider? I’m not a hugely...
